Group to add 971 keys in Oman, Saudi Arabia and the UAE
Ennismore has revealed plans to open 34 hotels and resorts in 2026, including four new openings in the Gulf, led by Saudi Arabia’s largest all-inclusive resort and the first Rixos-branded property in Oman. The fast-expanding lifestyle group, whose portfolio spans brands including Rixos, SLS, Mama Shelter, Delano and Mondrian, has now passed the 200‑hotel mark globally, more than doubling its network in just four years as it builds across the Middle East, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Africa and the Americas.
Recent Gulf additions include SO/ Ras Al Khaimah, the brand’s first all‑inclusive resort in the Middle East, and the Saudi debut of SLS at The Red Sea, a resort with 150 keys, a collection of beachfront villas, five restaurants and a spa.
Together, the 2026 pipeline of four Gulf properties stretches from Salalah in Oman and the Hajar Mountains in the UAE to the Saudi Red Sea coast and Jeddah, adding nearly 1,000 keys to the region’s room stock, from overwater villas to mountain glamping trailers
Rixos Murjana, Red Sea
Set along Saudi’s Red Sea coast in King Abdullah Economic City, Rixos Murjana is slated to become the kingdom’s largest all-inclusive resort when it opens in early 2026 on a 275,000-square‑metre site. The resort will reflect Hijazi design and feature 488 rooms and suites alongside Maldivian-style overwater villas at Club Privé, plus a private beach, Anjana Spa, Murjana Water Park, Rixy Kids and Teens Clubs, extensive sports facilities and a wide lineup of dining venues.
SO/ Jeddah Hotel and Residences
Due to open in late 2026, SO/ Jeddah Hotel will bring 147 design‑led keys to Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea port city, blending high‑style hotel living with contemporary serviced residences. True to SO/’s fashion‑inspired identity, the property will showcase three standout dining concepts: Fi’lia, Ennismore’s female‑led Italian‑Mediterranean brand; Dolce Fi’lia in the lobby; and Ninive, an urban majlis‑style venue pairing a tented Bedouin aesthetic with pan‑Middle Eastern and North African sharing plates. The hotel will also feature flexible event spaces and wellness facilities designed to establish it as a vibrant new social hub for Jeddah.

Ennismore’s Our Habitas to make UAE debut with Hatta destination
Caravan Hatta by Our Habitas
In the UAE, Ennismore is also preparing to debut its first Our Habitas project in the country at Hatta, introducing the Caravan concept to the Hajar Mountains. Opening in early 2026, it will deliver a glamping‑style experience with 50 bespoke airstream trailers overlooking Hatta Dam, each with valley or lake views. Anchored by The Lake House, a central hub with an infinity pool, hot tub, cold plunge and open-air dining via food trucks and barbecue stations, experiences will include creative workshops and wellness rituals rooted in Hajar traditions and activities such as hiking, biking and kayaking.
Rixos Salalah, Oman
The first Rixos-branded resort in Oman, Rixos Salalah will take the brand’s all‑inclusive model to the southern Dhofar region and the beachside city of Salalah when it opens in late 2026. Located in Oman’s third‑largest city, just 15 minutes from Salalah International Airport, the dry resort will offer 286 rooms and suites overlooking the Indian Ocean, with multiple pools, a spa, kids’ and teens’ clubs, ballrooms and four restaurants set in lush gardens near Al Haffa Souk, creating a tranquil retreat that is particularly appealing during the Khareef season.
Beyond the Gulf, Ennismore plans to open 30 additional properties worldwide, including a new Rixos resort on the Egyptian Red Sea coast. The 2026 pipeline also features four projects in the Americas – among them the revitalised Delano Miami Beach – and four in Asia-Pacific, where Hyde will arrive in Bali and Perth, Rixos will make its Asia debut in Vietnam, and Mondrian Maldives will open on the private island of Kuredhivaru. In Europe, three launches are set to include the British debut of Delano overlooking Hyde Park in London and the opening of Mama Shelter Lake Como.
