The 127-night voyage calls at 72 destinations across five continents
Crystal Cruises has opened bookings for its 2029 World Cruise, a 127-night voyage set to depart on 7 January from Melbourne, aboard the Crystal Symphony.
Sailing across five continents, the itinerary will conclude on 13 May in New York City, calling at 72 destinations in 22 countries, with 13 overnight stays. The programme also marks the line’s first-ever circumnavigation of Australia and introduces new ports of call, including Exmouth for Ningaloo Reef in Australia, Robinson Crusoe Island in Chile and Búzios in Brazil.
The first half of the journey features a cross-Pacific sailing, linking destinations such as Bali, Sydney and Auckland, before crossing the International Date Line. The itinerary then continues with island-hopping across French Polynesia, visiting the turquoise lagoon islands of Bora Bora and Papeete. It then heads to South America, with a call at the iconic Easter Island, and ends March with an overnight stay in Buenos Aires.

Following this, travellers sail along the Brazilian coast, experiencing the Amazon River and stopping at highlights such as Rio de Janeiro, home to the famous Christ the Redeemer statue, before the segment concludes in French Guiana and Barbados.
The final leg of the journey sails through the Caribbean before visiting US cities Fort Lauderdale and New York, its final destination.
Commenting on the cruise, Crystal Chairman and Brand Ambassador Fernando Barroso de Oliveira said: “By venturing beyond our traditional world cruise pathways, we’re able to unlock rarer ports, extended stays and a deeper sense of place, all paired with the exceptional onboard and shore experiences Crystal guests expect.”
Prices start from US$69,000 per person, based on double occupancy. Travellers booking the full itinerary will receive a range of benefits, including business-class flights, visa packages, US$1,500 in onboard credits and a two-night pre-cruise hotel stay in Melbourne, alongside additional onboard and shoreside perks.
