Travellers can rebook online within 72 hours to manage changes
Emirates has introduced a flexible rebooking option to help passengers manage travel disruptions resulting from regional tensions following the Iran conflict. Between 28 February and 13 March, more than 52,000 of the 98,000 scheduled flights to and from the Middle East were cancelled, prompting carriers to adjust operations and passenger support measures.
Under the new policy, Emirates customers can rebook flights online within 72 hours of their original departure, offering greater flexibility and reassurance as the airline works to minimise disruption and reduce unnecessary airport visits amid evolving airspace conditions across the region. Travellers can manage changes through the Manage Your Booking portal or via the mobile app.
For passengers wishing to reschedule flights more than 72 hours before departure, the carrier recommends contacting its support team directly through the online help centre or by direct message on the airline’s verified social media channels.

Following the partial reopening of several regional routes, Emirates is operating a limited schedule to 63 destinations as of 16 March. All flights to and from Dubai International Airport (DXB) were temporarily suspended on the morning of 16 March following a drone attack, before resuming gradually.
Travellers are urged to confirm their itineraries before heading to the airport, as capacity remains constrained.
For passengers whose travel plans have been affected between 28 February and 31 March, Emirates will automatically attempt to rebook flights on the next available service, including connecting journeys through Dubai. Those preferring different travel dates can select alternative flights through the Emirates website, mobile app or their travel agent. Customers with cancelled onward connections in Dubai are advised not to travel to the airport and to rebook before departure.
Flights can be changed for travel up to 30 April 2026, with refunds available through the online refund form for direct bookings or via travel agents. The current travel waiver allows up to nine changes.
