Four Seasons to manage new coastal development opening 2030
Oman is set to develop a US$390 million integrated tourism complex in Muscat, as the sultanate looks to strengthen its luxury tourism offerings.
Located in the capital’s Al Bustan area, the coastal development will be delivered in partnership with the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism and Omran Group. Spanning nearly 140,000 square metres, the project is expected to be completed within four years.
The complex will be managed by Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and will combine luxury hospitality with high-end residential living, featuring a 200-room hotel and 91 branded residences available for freehold ownership.
In addition to accommodation, the development will feature a luxury marina, yacht club, marine leisure facilities and a range of restaurants and retail outlets.

The project also aims to support economic diversification, boost local employment and enhance tourism infrastructure, in line with Oman Vision 2040.
Muscat has recently expanded its hospitality portfolio with several new openings, including Tivoli La Vie Muscat Hotel & Residences, which opened in March 2026. The property marks the brand’s Oman debut and is the sultanate’s first championship golf course retreat.
Hilton has also expanded its footprint in the country. Earlier this year, the hotel group acquired the former Barr Al Jissah resort complex, previously operated by the Shangri-La Group, rebranding the destination and doubling its portfolio in Oman. The collection comprises Hilton Muscat Al Bandar, DoubleTree by Hilton Muscat Al Waha and Al Husn Hotel Muscat, which will reopen as a luxury Waldorf Astoria property in 2027.
