Group debuted in destination in 2025
Dubai hospitality group Leva Hotels is set to double its footprint in Zimbabwe following a management agreement with Radar Properties for a new hotel development in Bulawayo.
Under the partnership, Leva will operate the 120-key, four-star hotel located in Kings City, a 2,100-hectare mixed-use destination 8km from Bulawayo’s central business district. The hotel is also within reach of major attractions, including Victoria Falls, Hwange National Park and the Matobo Hills.
The property will include a restaurant, fitness centre, spa and conference facilities, targeting both business and leisure travellers. The opening date is yet to be confirmed.
The group previously made its debut in Zimbabwe in August 2025 with a 177-key three-star property in Harare, the country’s capital. Situated in the historic Chester House, the property features multiple meeting facilities and an all-day dining restaurant.

JS Anand, founder and CEO of Leva Hotels, said: “Following our recent entry into Harare [Zimbabwe’s capital city], this greenfield project in Bulawayo marks an important step in our Southern African expansion.”
Zimbabwe’s second-largest city, Bulawayo, has a rising demand for new hotels, with a limited presence of international hotel brands. The destination is also within reach of major attractions, including Victoria Falls, Hwange National Park and the Matobo Hills.
The deal forms part of Leva’s wider expansion in Africa, including a property in Casablanca, Morocco, scheduled to open in June 2026.
