Group to make Morocco debut in 2028
Nikki Beach Hospitality Group has confirmed plans for a resort and residential development in Marrakech, marking its entry into Morocco.
Scheduled to open in 2028 on Route de l’Ourika, a 20-minute drive from Marrakech Menara Airport, Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Marrakech will comprise a hotel and beach club alongside branded residences.
The hotel will offer more than 100 suites, ranging from entry-level rooms of around 45 square metres to larger suites, including a 500-square-metre flagship unit. Design plans reference modern Moroccan architecture, with low-density layouts accommodating fewer people per square metre, positioned around pools, water features and landscaped outdoor spaces.
The residences will feature more than 50 serviced villas, with private pools and gardens, integrated into a resort-style setting with shared access to hospitality facilities.
Dining options will include an all-day dining venue, a signature restaurant and poolside service alongside entertainment programming at the beach club.

Additional facilities will span outdoor bars, retail outlets, and a spa with a hammam and treatment rooms. Indoor and outdoor sports facilities are also planned, including a gym and dedicated squash, tennis and padel courts.
Rémi Delpech, COO of Nikki Beach Hotels & Resorts, said: “We are developing a complete lifestyle ecosystem that brings together a luxury hotel, private residences and a beach club, alongside wellness and lifestyle offerings.”
The move reflects a broader shift towards integrated hospitality models that combine accommodation, residences and lifestyle-led components to extend length of stay and diversify revenue streams.
Morocco’s tourism sector continues to grow, with 14.5 million visitors recorded in 2023, according to the Ministry of Tourism. Nikki Beach’s wider expansion pipeline includes developments in Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE, Baku in Azerbaijan, Muscat in Oman and Antigua in the Caribbean.
