Adults-only wellness retreat launches on 15 May 2026
Red Sea Global (RSG) will open Miraval The Red Sea on 15 May 2026 ahead of the Eid Al Adha travel period, adding a new luxury wellness resort to Shura Island
The adults-only, all-inclusive resort marks Miraval Resorts & Spas’ first property outside the US and adds 180 rooms, suites and villas to The Red Sea destination.
Located around 25 to 30 minutes from Red Sea International Airport (RSI) by EV transfer, the resort will offer personalised wellness-led itineraries spanning yoga, meditation, mindfulness programmes, creative workshops and locally inspired cuisine. The property also features the largest spa on Shura Island, with 39 treatment rooms alongside wellness, fitness and nutrition experiences.
John Pagano, Group CEO of Red Sea Global, said: “Welcoming Miraval Resorts & Spas, a globally respected wellness brand, to the destination reflects ongoing confidence in Saudi Arabia’s tourism offering.”
The region recently recorded 82% occupancy during the final 10 days of Ramadan. “Demand during Ramadan and forward bookings for Eid Al Adha point to strong momentum for the destination,” added Pagano.
The resort forms part of RSG’s wider regenerative tourism strategy, with Miraval powered entirely by renewable energy and incorporating advanced waste and water management systems designed to support the developer’s target of achieving a 30% net conservation gain by 2040.
