The addition of Bogotá and Caracas expands Qatar Airways’ Americas network to 16 destinations. The airline first launched South American operations in 2010 with flights to São Paulo, Brazil.
Caracas, the largest city in Venezuela, is known for its national parks, historic landmarks and skyline of towers. Meanwhile, Bogotá is one of the world’s highest-altitude capitals, set in the Andes, and home to the colourful La Candelaria district defined by cobblestone streets and murals.
Flight timings have been scheduled to support onward connections via Hamad International Airport to markets including Australia, China, Japan, Lebanon, South Korea and the UAE.
The launch comes as Qatar Airways continues restoring services across its network following regional airspace disruptions earlier this year. The airline recently resumed flights to Dubai and Sharjah and expects to serve more than 150 destinations from mid-2026.
